PEDOCARE Launches Community Health Outreach for Mothers and Children
PEDOCARE has launched a targeted community health outreach initiative designed to improve access to essential health services for mothers and children in underserved areas. The programme brings together trained health workers, community volunteers, and local leaders to deliver health education, basic screenings, referrals, and follow‑up support closer to where families live. During the first phase, the outreach teams are focusing on maternal health, child nutrition, immunization awareness, and prevention of common illnesses. Mothers and caregivers receive one‑on‑one counseling, group education sessions, and information materials in local languages to help them make informed decisions about their families’ health. The initiative is being implemented in close collaboration with local health facilities and government agencies to ensure alignment with existing services and strengthen referral pathways. By combining community engagement with practical, evidence‑based health interventions, PEDOCARE aims to reduce preventable illnesses, improve early detection of health risks, and contribute to healthier, more resilient households.
